Hickory Band Parent Association Scholarship
NOTE: To be considered for a scholarship, complete the application in its entirety.
Senior students participating in the Hickory High School Band program that are in good standing will have an opportunity to receive a college scholarship award of $500.00. Scholarships are awarded to admirable students who have made significant contributions to the Hickory High School Band Program and who will continue post-secondary education.
Two (2) senior students will be selected for the $500.00 HBPA Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded to admirable students who have made significant contributions to the Hickory High Band Program, have a minimum of a 3.0 weighted GPA, and who will continue post-secondary education. The student’s college of choice must be a recognized accredited college of higher education.
One (1) senior student will be selected for the $500 Michael & Matthew Toothman Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is based on the student’s character and service with no GPA requirement. It will be awarded to one admirable student who has made significant contributions to the Hickory High School Band Program and who will continue post-secondary education. The student’s college of choice must be a recognized accredited college of higher education.
To be considered for a scholarship, please complete the application in its entirety. Scholarship recipients will be announced in June.
The application deadline is Sunday, May 15th. No applications will be accepted after that date. No hand delivered applications will be accepted.
