HBPA Parents:
This event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Marching Hawks. To make the day a success, many of the parents and students are needed to volunteer during the day. Being a volunteer on this day does not require you to work all day. You are able to volunteer for a shift during the day. Without the participation of our parents and students, we would not be able to continue with the games. Information about the games will be discussed during the HBPA meetings in July, August and September. Please help make the SEVMG a success!

2023 SEVMG Sponsor Letter for Banners
The Hickory High School Marching Band will be hosting the Southeastern Virginia Music Games on September 30, 2022. We anticipate a sold-out event in the High School Stadium that seats approximately 9,000 people. There will be high caliber Marching Bands participating throughout the day and evening. The contest will be judged by exceptional individuals who have worked with Drum Corps International groups and other highly accredited marching band units.
We have contracted with a local graphics company to layout and manufacture full color, quality vinyl banners to advertise your company or organization in the Hickory High School Stadium for this event. The banner will measure 40” by 120” complete with grommets for hanging. We will hang your banner in the stadium for the September 30th Music Games and return it to you after the event concludes for future use.
The cost to advertise with a new banner is $300. This includes the manufacture of the banner, displaying the banner during the event, and returning the banner to you after the event. Because the Music Games are an annual competition, your high-quality banner may be used at future Music Games for a reduced price of $150. Checks should be made payable to Hickory Band Parents Association or HBPA.
